Jolanta Macdonald, DMD
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Jolanta Macdonald graduated cum laude (with high honors), earning her Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Colgate University in 1996. She then attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 2000. During dental school, Dr. Macdonald completed a two-month general dentistry oral surgery externship at Hartford Hospital. She treated children at Children’s Medical Center in Washington, D.C., during her two-year Pediatric Dentistry residency. She graduated in 2002 and has been practicing pediatric dentistry since. In 2011, she became Certified as a Pediatric Dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Macdonald also completed an Associate Fellowship through the World Clinical Laser Institute in 2013.
In December 2004, Dr. Macdonald built and opened Children's Dentistry of Northborough. She is the sole owner and works with her general dentist husband, Craig and orthodontist friend, Anita. Children's Dentistry of Northborough is a family practice made up of clinicians that take pride in the excellent dental care they provide.
Dr. Macdonald is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Massachusetts Dentists Alliance, and Mommy Dentist in Business group. She was a courtesy staff member at Children’s Hospital in Boston from 2004 until 2019 where she was responsible for overseeing dental residents in the clinic.
In her leisure time, Dr. Macdonald enjoys scuba diving, spending time with her family, skiing, and taking photographs of her children, Kaitlyn, Alex, and Madi Rose. She has two goldendoodles named Teddy and Cali and a senior Korat cat name Violet.
